North of Saint Quay Portrieux, 10 minutes from thehotelAt the foot of the cliffs, you can admire the highest cliffs of Bretagne, the 104 m high cliffs of Plouha, and at their feet the small atypical port of Gwin Zegal which can be reached by the GR 34 (customs path). To the south of Saint Quay Portrieux, the Bay of Saint-Brieuc Nature Reserve, the largest reserve in Bretagne, is a concentration of wild beaches and a bird sanctuary. Along its paths in winter, no less than 40,000 birds of 112 different species can be observed at leisure. To find out more, the Maison de la Baie in Hillion, classified as a Maison Nature, offers visitors an almost complete discovery of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, its natural riches and its maritime economy.

It is impossible to talk about the Bay of Saint-Brieuc without mentioning its Queen: the scallop, which can be found on all the stalls of the fishmongers from October to April and on the menus of the Costa Rican chefs.
